International Chocolate Festival
When: Friday, January 24 – Sunday, January 26
The most delectable event of the year is back! Take home a cacao tree or chocolate-scented orchid, sample delicious treats from international vendors, and check out cooking demos from prominent chefs and chocolatiers. There’s something for every chocolate enthusiast.
Admission is $25 for adults, $18 for seniors 65 and up, $12 for children 6-17, and free for Fairchild members and children 5 and under.

Splendor in the Garden
When: Thursday, January 23 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Enjoy an afternoon of fashion and philanthropy at the Splendor in the Garden luncheon and fashion show featuring looks chosen by Neiman Marcus Senior Vice President and Fashion Director Ken Downing. Guests can purchase clothes right off the runway at the Backstage Boutique.

Let your views know about the upcoming agreement that would put Miami in charge of Brickell Avenue instead of the State’s highway division, FDOT. Miami Commissioners and Mayor Regalado are ready to make the changes residents want, and the Police support, and that our urban neighborhood needs for improved safety and quality of life.
The Public Hearing is tonight, Tues., Jan. 21, at 6:30, First Presbyterian Church, 609 Brickell Avenue. The presentation of the plan is at 7:00 and public commentary following. Let your views be known!

Munchkin Fun and Brickell and KB moms have come together in collaboration with Kydoo to present a lively and thought-provoking discussion on the topic of Kids Nurturing & Development.
Intrigued with your kids’ development and interested in finding out how your role as a nurturer can affect the process?. Is there anything we as moms can do to make our kids’ brains work better–to help them become smarter, happier people? Drawing upon the exploding studies in this field as well as the stories of real children, this Brickell Meet-up will present an interactive discussion on the topic.
