The City of Miami inagurated the Orange and Green Trolley service in Brickell on March 2012. The service is free of charge and runs approximately every 20 minutes from 6:30 to 1 1pm Monday through Saturday and Sundays only during event days (such as when the Heat plays). There are different routes: The Health District/Stadium, the Brickell/Biscayne and the Overtown /Health Dist. My 3 year old daughter loves to ride it; somehow it is an entertainment for her! The orange-and-green, retro-style trolley with super nice interiors and old school details plus the air conditioner can take you to major destinations in the Brickell area. Some of those major destinations are among others Mary Brickell Village, Brickell Key, Bayfront Park, the AA Arena and the Adrienne Arsht Center.
The Biscayne-Brickell route was recently extended to The Design District and divided in to two separate routes (Brickell Route and Biscayne Route).
