The Minds Awards hope to help raise the bar and accomplish one goal: recognize excellence and inspiration in education. Teachers from all education communities, from preschool to elementary school will be recognize for rethinking education and contributing to shaping the next generation of leaders.

On November 2014, Brickell and KB moms will honor two extraordinary teachers who are changing the lives of their students and paving the way for a new generation of global leaders. The winners will be celebrated by our community and will be featured in local media.

How can parents participate?

Parent participation is key. Please nominate the teacher of your choice by going online and casting your vote. We welcome your nomination until October 15th, the award recipients will be presented November 2014.

How does it work?

In November, as part of our 2nd School Fair and in partnership with Ashoka South Florida, International Association of Human Values, Design for Change and Values & Strengths we will recognize those outstanding teachers. Your recommendations count! By raising your voice and nominating a school or teacher you are helping other moms become informed and make better decisions for their children as well as help recognize inspiring people that sometimes go unnoticed in society.
