  • Best Apps to help you stay in the Know – World Cup Special

    by Becky Miller

The 2014 World Cup is everywhere when you turn on the TV, read a newspaper or even when you simply walk down the streets it’s there screaming at you through the colors of the multitude of shirts of everyone’s favorite team. But more than ever it’s on social media; with social media taking over the world you just cannot run from it, every time you open your facebook or twitter the talk of the day is the World Cup.

However, as we all know, being a mother means that you do not always have time to watch every game and find out who bit who.

So to help us out, here are a couple of Apps to make sure you are in the know when it comes to the World Cup:

    • FIFA Official App: FIFA app is the go to app for all things world cup related. Get real-time push notifications on everything taking place during the matches.
    • BBC iPlayer: Never miss a match, BBC is live streaming the football world cup matches and you can watch them for free on your smartphone with the iPlayer app.
    • FIFA 14 by EA SPORTS:  Test your own soccer skills on your smartphone with the FIFA 14 by EA Sports app.
    • Adidas 2014 FIFA World Cup LWP: This is a must have app for the all soccer fanatics. This app plays a very interesting short animation every time you unlock your device.

Additionally, just for fun access the Google home page to check out the new doddle of the day.

We hope the apps listed above will help make your FIFA World Cup 2014 Brazil a memorable experience. If there are other apps that are a must have, do let us know.
