You know that one of our main pillars at BKB Moms is education and as such one of our main missions is to educate ourselves about the different educational resources available out there. We are glad to know that many big corporations do care about education and support us in different ways. Coca-Cola understands the value Hispanic families place in education and is proud to continue its long-standing partnership of 35-years with the Hispanic Scholarship Fund, the nation’s largest not-for-profit organization supporting Hispanic American higher education.
As part of the Coca-Cola – HSF For The Dream National Scholarship Program, this year Coca-Cola is donating $150,000 to HSF to be awarded via scholarships to qualifying students who apply from January 1 to March 30, 2016 at www.Coke.com/ForTheDream, to help Hispanic families plan, prepare and pay for college.
Besides financial restrictions, oftentimes we face other challenges when leading our teens along the road to college, such as lack of information. Coca-Cola wants to empower moms and provide them with the resources to help them successfully guide their teens towards achieving their higher education dreams.
Check out the “Coca-Cola’s Roadmap to Your Teen’s College Acceptance”, a detailed infographic to help us understand key steps in supporting our teens through the college application process.
We invite you to share your personal experience when guiding your teen to college, from the challenges you have faced to advice you can share with other parents. Use the #ForTheDream as Coca-Cola will be selecting the 3 most compelling stories.
