  • Quote of the week

“The great motherhood friendships are the ones in which two women can admit [how difficult mothering is] quietly to each other, over cups of tea at a table sticky with spilled apple juice and littered with markers without tops.” ― Anna Quindlen

  • Creativity to its fullest!

You know we love connecting, collaborating, creativity and gatherings.  You also know we are all about PLAY! We love to bring our community together and inspiring our kids for a better future. So, we are happy to be collaborating and supporting a great event that happens annually in Miami and all around the world. First born in 2006 in the San Francisco area, Maker Faire is part science fair, part county fair, and part something entirely new- Maker Faire is an all-ages gathering of tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, authors, artists, students, and commercial exhibitors. All of these “makers” come to Maker Faire to show what they have made and to share what they have learned.

Maker Faire Miami will be taking place at the Miami Dade College  during the April 8-9 weekend and will be a festival of invention, creativity and resourcefulness that inspires us all to join a growing, global community of makers, builders and doers. South Florida’s largest show-and-tell will feature more than 150 artists and entrepreneurs from across the Western Hemisphere and Europe who will showcase their knowledge, skills and creations in technology, science, engineering, design, food, crafts, music and much more. With a range of attractions and activities for ALL AGES, the two-day Faire is an inclusive event for the whole family.
