Join the Museum for an unforgettable exploration that will excite all your senses, and really make you think! Miami Brain Fair 2014 highlights all the latest and greatest research, discoveries, and education related to the brain and nervous system. Kids of all ages can:
- Learn about gender differences in the brain, and whether men and women are truly different minded.
- Investigate the how their senses interact with their brain through a personalized brain mapping session.
- Discover how to keep their brain and spinal cord safe from injury, and why it is so important to keep safe.
- Dissect a real sheep brain to learn how brains work.
- Hear how their muscles communicate through electrodes.
- Sing along to learn about the signs of a stroke.
- Test their taste buds and find out if they are a super-taster.
- Participate in the annual Brain Bee and team Brain jeopardy.

Organized by researchers from The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis, this annual event includes broad participation from University of Miami, Nova Southeastern University, FIU, Barry University, St. Thomas University, Baptist Health, the Max Planck Institute of Florida and others.
