The Institute of Contemporary Art and Miami Design District Family Day is an opportunity for families to engage in art and design! The event offers interactive activities throughout the Design District and ICA Miami that introduce families to art and contemporary design. Events are generally scheduled the 2nd Sunday of the month and are free and open to the public.

Day’s Activities:
Scavenger Hunt – Solve the riddles to find public artworks throughout the design district with ICA Storyteller Stephen Kaiser. Win a prize if you can identify all 6 works!
Art word search – Put on your thinking caps to find key words used in art in a large scale word search.
City Construction – Build a new city with local artist Luis Garcia Nerey! Through this interactive, collaborative activity, participants will create towers of different shapes and sizes using pre-made wire mesh structures making a brand new imaginary city!
Puzzles – Participants will be given puzzle pieces to put together three works that are currently in the John Miller exhibition at ICA Miami. See if you can put the pieces together to create your very own John Miller artwork!
