Ocean trash is a serious pollution problem that affects the health of people, wildlife and our economies. Join the world’s largest volunteer effort for our ocean and waterways by participating in Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Cleanup.
Miami-Dade’s participation in this global event is presented by Covanta and organized by VolunteerCleanup.org. This year, there will be 45 cleanup sites throughout the county.

Creativity In The Community is a free, six-week workshop led by The Bass that brings art and literacy classes to the surrounding communities of Miami-Dade County, engaging parents & their kids 2-8. Families who participate in all sessions will receive certificates, prizes, and the opportunity to attend free excursions to cultural sites. Families will also be a part of a culminating event where their artwork will be on display.
