June in Miami with the kids
June is an in-between month. It is end of school for most kids and sometimes start of summer camp (check out our summer camp favorites) or summer getaway. I personally like that June is a transition month and let my kids enjoy some time off to sleep and not do much.

I love to enjoy time with my kids and if possible take them to local outings. Here are a few ideas on free admission to Miami Museums that I will be doing. So, a little bit of sun + beach + museum is what I am planning.

    Free Admissions to Miami Museums

PAMM – Free Admission on the first Thursday and second Saturday of every month. The city’s newest art museum contemporary art from Latin America and the Caribbean. Second Saturday afternoons feature hands-on activities for children, led by multilingual artist staff.

MCM – it is Miami’s most expansive educational playground, free third Friday – Dino Island is new this Summer! And the hours of Free Third Fridays have changed from 4 pm to 8 pm.
Wolfsonian-FIU, the first Saturday of each month is Discover Design Free Family Day, with activities like building sea creatures from a “treasure chest” of materials, and taking polaroid pictures to start kids’ own photo journals.

Also, remember! Miami Film Month – June is the official Miami Film Month – How it Works: $8 Film Tickets. Please check individual art cinemas coupons for exclusions or blackout dates.
