Summer is finally approaching and we are almost ready to roll with activities for the kids. Remember, summer is about letting our kids explore different disciplines, sports and activities so that they can find what drives and makes them passionate. ! Like we do every year, after researching over 300 summer programs in Miami we came up with our own list of  Most Recommended Summer Camp Programs under different categories.  Check it out and let us know what you think!

Camp La Llanada

Nature Exploration & Conservation

• Day Guaikinima Camp @Virginia Historic Beach Park:  Designed to expose children to live challenging, competitive and healthy adventures in a Spanish immersion program. • Summer by the Sea Marine Science Day Camp @The Marjory Stoneman Douglas Biscayne Nature Center: Campers will join the center’s lifeguard certified marine biologist for exciting, hands-on marine science explorations. Campers will experience a sea grass adventure, kayak and snorkel alongside the unique fossil reef, paddle board, dissect squid, make beautiful art projects, play fun science beach games.  Dates: July 10- August 4. • Ransom Everglades Summer Day Camp @Ransom Everglades: Program provides opportunities to explore different sports and disciplines in a teamwork environment: Aquatics, Archery, Arts & Crafts, Basketball, Canoeing, Drama, Karate, Sailing, Soccer, Tennis, Yoga. • Hurricane Aquatics @ UM: This celebrated day camp, based at the beautiful outdoor pool at the Whitten University Center on the Coral Gables campus, provides instruction in the areas of swimming in a group setting, springboard diving, and stroke technique. To participate in Swim Camp, each camper must be 7 years old and able to swim 25yds of Free Style. • Key Point Academy´s Summer Activities: Camp is designed to foster each child’s creativity and problem-solving skills. • Sunshine Summer Camp:  A Private Camp for Girls & Boys Ages 3 – 13. This program grants children the opportunity to grow spiritually in a Christian environment and promote physical development. Camp Broadway 

• Summer Theatre Academy: @ University of Miami Department of Theatre Arts. Six-week day camp for students looking to develop an appreciation for the performing arts through theatre games and acting exercises led by trained, caring staff. Ages: Grades 1-10 in the fall. • Camp Broadway @ Arsht Center: for theater-loving kids, ages 10-17, to develop their confidence, character and presentation skills through lessons in dance, acting, singing and ensemble performance. Opening 2017

• Frost Summer Camp: Discover the wonders of science through four different week-long camps that explore engineering, astronomy, marine biology and health. For the inaugural year of Summer Camp at Frost Science, 2nd through 5th graders are welcome. Each week of camp will include a planetarium show and free exploration time around the museum.
